Family Law

The Family Law practice group at Burch Porter is led by Joe M. Duncan, who has over forty years experience in the field. The attorneys in the group draw on their decades of knowledge and experience in assisting individuals in confronting the varied and challenging issues that arise in this area of practice, including divorce, legal separation, annulment, alimony, division of property, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.

The group also concentrates on assisting clients with parenting plans and child support, custody, name changes, and adoption.

In addition to litigation of these matters, our attorneys are actively involved in mediation in the family law area, serving not only as counsel for parties in mediation but also as mediators.
