Melisa Moore's practice focuses on the areas of insurance defense, workers’ compensation, personal injury, Section 1983 Civil Rights litigation, and commercial and business litigation. Before joining the firm as an associate in 2011, she practiced law at a regional insurance defense firm in Memphis. Ms. Moore graduated from the University of Memphis Law School in December of 2009 and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2006. 

While in law school, Ms. Moore was a staff member for the University of Memphis Law Review and worked as a research assistant for Professor Robert Banks. She was also an active member in the Christian Legal Society and Black Law Students Association. Ms. Moore is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and graduate of Trezevant High School.
