Two New Associates Join BPJ

Burch, Porter & Johnson, PLLC is proud to announce that Mary Kaitlyn Cornett and Marshall T. Cox have joined the law firm as Associate Attorneys. 

Ms. Cornett completed her LLM in taxation at New York University School of Law and focuses her practice in the areas of taxation, corporate and business law, education, charitable and not-for-profit organizations, and estate planning and probate. She received her J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. 

Mr. Cox is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School and served as an extern for Judge Susie Morgan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. His practice includes corporate and business law, mergers and acquisitions, secured lending, and commercial real estate. Mr. Cox began his legal career in litigation with McGlinchey Stafford in New Orleans, and is pleased to return to his hometown to join the firm.
