Burch, Porter & Johnson, PLLC is pleased to announce that Mary Margaret Petrinjak has become a Member of the firm effective January 1, 2015.

Ms. Petrinjak’s practice focuses on healthcare transactions, regulatory healthcare compliance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law.  She has experience representing both buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions.  Additionally, her practice includes counseling providers and suppliers on a variety of healthcare matters including the application of fraud and abuse laws (such as Stark, the False Claims Act, the federal Anti-kickback statute and state self-referral laws) and HIPAA compliance matters.

Prior to joining the firm in 2012, Ms. Petrinjak practiced law in Jackson, TN.  She graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.A. in Mathematics in 1995 and a J.D. in 2001.  She currently serves as a board member of the Health Law Section of the Memphis Bar Association.
