Burch, Porter & Johnson is proud to announce that L. Mathew Jehl has joined the firm as an Associate, focusing his practice in personal injury litigation, commercial and business litigation, and white collar and criminal investigations. He will also practice in government relations and municipal law, and labor and employment law.

Mr. Jehl received his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College and graduated with honors from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Bernice B. Donald, United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

A native Memphian, Mr. Jehl has been coaching and teaching trial advocacy to students in the Rhodes College Mock Trial program since 2013.
