Litigator John R. “Mac” McCarroll has joined the firm as a Senior Attorney.

His nearly 30-year practice includes commercial and business litigation, insurance litigation and coverage and product liability, with a focus on civil litigation, and personal injury litigation. He is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi.

McCarroll is a lifelong Memphian who graduated from Memphis University School, Vanderbilt, where he studied history and was a four-year football letterman, and the University of Mississippi Law School. Both his grandfathers and his father were attorneys, which inspired him to go into the practice of law, and he strives for professionalism and courtesy in his work, believing they are the route to the most effective resolution of problems.

McCarroll is on the board of Urban Community Ministries and leads the Soup Pot Ministry at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church, and enjoys cooking, fishing, and watching SEC football.
