John Cook’s practice focuses on commercial transactions, estate planning and probate, tax planning and controversy, complex litigation and bankruptcy. He is a Certified Public Accountant, which brings his clients an additional level of expertise in sophisticated financial matters.

Before he joined BPJ in 2022, Mr. Cook was a name partner in two smaller law firms in Memphis, where he has lived for 47 years. He was also previously an attorney at Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP, in Houston. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Cook was a tax consultant and CPA with the public accounting firm Deloitte & Touche
